We are seeking an ambitious, driven and innovative Regional Sales Manager for our client, a Global Pharmaceutical Company, to deliver agreed growth and sales targets, implement specific business objectives in line with the overall operations plan and manage a high performing Key Account Managers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor the performance of key account management teams in designated areas: resource planning, recruitment, coaching, training, development planning, talent management, performance management
- Develop annual and quarterly specific sales plan, identifying market share, budgets, tactics and cascade to territories in order for the key account managers to develop their territory plans
- Lead, motivate, drive and manage sales team in line with company values and helps team to achieve individual and company objectives
- Work with external stakeholders who impact upon the business e.g. distributors and to ensure overall business objectives are achieved
- Key Opinion Leader development
- Identify enhanced business methods, opportunities for improved sales achievement
Skills and Experience
- Several years’ experience in managing people and teams, preferably within the pharmaceutical market
- Strong team leadership skills and can demonstrate an ability in coaching, mentoring ,motivation and problem solving
- Ideally a life sciences or 3rd level qualification with additional Business/Marketing qualification
Eligibility Requirements
- Degree level education
- MRII (Ireland)/ ABPI (UK) qualification
- IT literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Full clean driving licence
