Full Time Hardware Sales Merchandiser

Crossell Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading hardware provider, for an experienced Sales Merchandiser to cover a 2 month contract which may be extended or become permanent. The role involves sales merchandising within the hardware trade. This is an exciting opportunity with the ability to develop and maximise sales at store level.

The Role:

·         To merchandise product for maximum visibility in store, generating extra space for the brand and the client’s products

·         Suggesting and negotiating incremental space and displays

·         Liaising with suppliers on optimum stock levels and planograms

·         To develop and maintain a good working relationship with store owners/managers

·         Developing and implementing promotional activity and seasonal campaigns

·         To ensure that all reports and administration are completed

Requirements:

•          Hardware Industry experience is preferred with previous merchandising experience essential

•          Must be energetic and enthusiastic  and be a self-starter who is able to work on own initiative

•          IT literate with strong Excel/Microsoft Office experience

•          Full clean drivers licence
