THE COMPANY: This global market leader in the automation industry, known for its high-quality products and bespoke engineering solutions, are now looking to add to their team here in Ireland. They manufacture a wide variety of automation equipment, from hardware such as sensors, drives, controls and the associated software. They turn over hundreds of millions each year on a global scale. They provide bespoke solutions for their customers, depending on their specific needs and requirements. They are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team and sell their full range of solutions.
THE ROLE:As a Technical Sales Engineer for this company, you will be responsible for selling their full range of automation equipment, both hardware and software, into a range of industries. These industries include Food & Beverage, Medical, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Manufacturing etc. This is a solution-based sale, so you will be responsible for assessing the needs of your clients and providing custom-based solutions to suit their needs. You will interact with Engineering Managers, Software Technicians, Automation Engineers, Manufacturing teams and so on.
This role will be a combination of account management and new business so you must be comfortable with both. You will be field-based and covering the Republic of Ireland. An extensive training plan awaits the successful Sales Manager.
FOR THIS PRODUCT SPECIALIST ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Experience in the automation/electrical industry is essential
Electric or Mechanical degree is desirable but not a prerequisite
Qualified electricians with technical sales experience would also be applicable
Experience with Drives & Controls is desirable
Qualified engineers looking to break into sales will also be of great interest
BENEFITS OF THIS TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER ROLE:
Basic salary €45,000 - €65,000 depending on exp
€5,000 - 10,000 bonus
Fully expensed company car
