EXTERNAL ACCOUNT MANAGER/TECHNICAL SALES – IRELAND
THE CLIENT: This market leading manufacturer and supplier of industrial applications and solutions is part of a global conglomerate who have an excellent presence and reputation in their chosen market. With numerous branches across the globe and much larger capabilities, they offer a diverse and innovative solution to their client base. Due to internal movement, they now require an experienced Sales Professional to join an already successful team.
THE ROLE: As External Account Manager/Technical Sales, you will be tasked with selling a full range of bespoke industrial applications & solutions suitable for a wide variety of sectors. Clients include Manufacturing, Production, Power Generation, Food & Drink, Oil & Gas, Paper & Pulp and Construction amongst others. This role entails a high level of activity in developing new business accounts however you will have a warm base to work from and ultimately retain long term. There will be a solid sales support function available allowing the successful person to focus on delivering their sales targets. Candidates must be of the hunter mentality and happy to source new business and not rely solely on repeat projects. Experience in a technically bias environment is a must have ideally selling into a similar client base however open to product, alongside a commercial awareness and willingness to progress. Please note candidates must expect to do a high level of travel across the 26 counties, be used to working to high turnover targets circa €7million and have a great attention to detail and reporting.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary - £48,000 - €55,000
Attractive Bonus Scheme circa €25-30K (realistic and currently being achieved)
