THE COMPANY: As one of the largest medical device’s companies in the world, this organisation have been very successful across a variety of therapy areas. This company have long been a market leader in their field, and they manage to sustain this position through constant product development and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. This patient care division has been the fastest-growing division in recent years, and opportunities to progress here are considerable.
The Role: In this role, you will be selling a portfolio of patient care capital equipment to the secondary care market. The majority of the portfolio is less than 2 years old and can be used in most clinical areas within a hospital. Specialist capital equipment used in patient transport is mainly sold as capital sales with some leasing opportunities available. This is a nationwide role, with about 60% of your business being located in the Republic of Ireland. There are many legacy customers but with the potential to grow new business too you must be confident in new business along with account management. Customers are spread across theatres, manual handling teams, procurement, critical care and accident and emergency departments.
THE PERSON: To be considered for this Territory Sales Manager role you will ideally have a background selling medical capital equipment into secondary care. Those with medical device sales experience will also be considered. Those with a high-level sales process and the ability to handle pressure with a positive and energetic attitude will do incredibly well here. This role may also suit someone coming from a clinical background, such as registered nurses, paramedics etc so if you are keen on breaking into a sales role, then apply below.
