THE COMPANY: Established for over 70 years and with a sales turnover over €400 million worldwide, this organisation offers a wide range of engineering solutions to the manufacturing sector, such as conveyors, accessories and peripheral equipment. They are now looking to recruit a new Technical Sales Engineer to cover Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Laois, Offaly and Galway. They sell their custom solutions into the OEMs, Process Industry and Food & Beverage End Users.
THE ROLE: In this Technical Sales Engineer role, you will be tasked with targeting some of the best-known Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical manufacturers across Ireland, as well as the OEM’s. You will be selling their full range of products, offering custom solutions for your customers. You will be selling to Engineering, Production and Maintenance managers. This role will be split equally between account management and new business, so you must be competent in both. Full product and company training are provided.
THE PERSON: We are looking to meet people that have experience selling technical/mechanical products such as conveyors, bearings, pneumatics, hydraulics and gearboxes into the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage End Users and OEMs. Ideally you will have a degree in Engineering but this is not essential. You must be a polished, driven, outgoing, detail-orientated individual with strong relationship-building skills and a good understanding of the sales process in this sector.
THE PACKAGE:
* Basic Salary: €40,000 - €50,000
* Commission/Bonus: €10,000+
* Company Car, Laptop, Mobile
* 22 days holidays
