Crossell Ltd are a field sales and merchandising company. Crossell were set up in 1997 and operates from a base in Dublin 12. We work with leading household & international brand names.

The company provide the resources to offer clients a full and flexible outsourced service that covers contract sales, merchandising teams, business development teams and recruitment services.

We now seek an experienced Client Operations Manager to support to support the growing demands of our expanding workforce.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager.  Are you looking for your next challenge?  Are you looking to develop your career?  Crossell are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our dynamic and fast paced Client merchandising, tactical and project services.  You will be working with a winning team, leading the sales of global brands in the FMCG industry.

 

Key Responsibilities Summary

You will be the primary senior Client contact within Crossell for your portfolio of Clients and leadership of the Client Operations Team in head office.  You will be accountable for the effective planning of client jobs/projects, and the analysis of results before compiling feedback for client reports.  You will proactively look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operations Team, whilst keeping the team focused and motivated.  You will also have direct Line Management responsibility for our Field Sales Supervisors and accountability for standards delivered through our tactical merchandising resource.  You will be required to complete specified weekly and monthly administration tasks accurately and efficiently to meet tight deadlines.  You will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the service levels that Crossell provide to these Clients in every aspect of the job description; an ability to proactively manage your Clients is crucial.

 

Major Responsibilities/ Activities

  • Primary point of contact for your Client portfolio
  • Efficient and effective planning of Clients Jobs/ Projects
  • Ability to forecast and anticipate operational challenges and put in place corrective actions
  • Review of Management Reports.
  • Demonstrate behaviours aligned with our company Values
  • Generation of Weekly and Monthly Client Reports
  • Hold regular Coaching Conversations with your Team.
  • Maintain all Personnel Records/ Files.
  • Manage Client Relationships.
  • Attend Client Meetings, as appropriate.
  • Identify growth opportunities with current and new Clients, and support Director of Client Service in delivering these growth opportunities.
  • Control & Management of Operation Team KPI’s
  • Make decisions at pace, do ensure we deliver for our Clients.
  • Lead the training & development of the Operations Team.
  • Control Costs.


Key Attributes

  • You will have a  minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ideally you will have experience in the FMCG industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills along with solid presentation skills.
  • A customer service mind set is a must, willing to go above and beyond to ensure the team objectives are met and our clients are satisfied with all aspects of the service.
  • You will have a talent for mentoring and leading a team
  • You will be able to think on your feet and come up with creative solutions to any issues that may arise
