Reconnaissance is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Dublin office to drive our security services business growth in the Irish Market. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate, develop, manage, and close a solid sales pipeline (from cold leads) to consistently meet and exceed quarterly quota
  • Focusing on SME primarily in Dublin and surrounding counties, rapidly identify industry and market opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with commercial organisations, business owners and SME’s
  • Regularly engage with existing clients to maintain a healthy long term relationship
  • Analyse client feedback to improve and adapt the sales strategy
  • Generate proposals, prepare quotations, plan customer meetings and perform a need analysis
  • Attend networking events
  • Work closely with the management team on marketing activity to drive the sales function

Professional skills

  • Min 5yrs solid B2B sales experience
  • Strong sales background (Security Industry an advantage)
  • Proven ability to generate new leads from cold and drive business development
  • Can demonstrate strong previous sales achievements
  • Great written & verbal communications skills
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skill
