A leading Agricultural business in the Midlands area is currently looking to recruit a Counter Sales Assistant (Agri). My client specialises in the Agricultural, Hardware & DIY Trades. This is a full-time permanent position.

This role would suit someone living on the Carlow/Wicklow/Kildare Boarder towns/region.

West Wicklow, South Kildare, North Carlow

With over 60 years in business my client has been the proud recipient of numerous retail awards including ‘’ 2014 Hardware store of the year ‘’. The successful candidate will take responsibility of delivering quality care and advice - product knowledge in the general hardware department.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Drive sales in their department by advising customers on their buying needs and requirements
* Deliver excellent customer service by offering solutions assisting the customers through the buying journey
* Dealing with suppliers and ordering stock
* Operations of tills and cash management
* Merchandising new lines of stock, stock replen, stock counting, pricing POS,
* Maintaining a quality standard in your department by taking ownership of its functions

Candidate profile

* Must have previous experience in retail and a knowledge of hardware products or Agri retail products
* Excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport and driving customer retention
* Able to work Saturdays and be flexible in role

Salary

* Standarrateof pay is 14 euro per hour (however a higher
