Bluestone Sales & Distribution are based in Trim, Co. Meath and supply market leading brands, Brita, Kitchen Devil, Severin, Breville, PackMate, Russel, Décor, E-Cloth, Leifheit, Soehnle and Greener Cleaner products to all major retailers throughout Ireland.  We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager/Business Development Manager to handle key trading accounts in ROI & NI.  The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements as well as developing new business.

The ideal candidate needs to be capable of building strong relationships with strategic customers, an ability to identify their needs and requirements and to promote our company’s branded products to sustain and grow business in order to achieve long term success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients.
  • Achievement of sales targets
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Identify and canvass new customer opportunities for our portfolio of brands
  • Expand the relationships with both existing and new customers
  • Ensure the correct product portfolio is presented to customers
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and the sales team
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Key Account Manager/Business Development Manager with a minimum of 3 years FMCG selling experience
  • Proven track record in achievement of budgets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong commercial acumen
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who is a strong team player, used to high a level of both individual and collective accountability
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
