THE COMPANY: Our client is one of Ireland’s largest suppliers of Factory automation products and solutions. They are a market leader, working with some of the biggest names in the Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries. They focus on building strong working relationships and pride themselves on being able to provide a bespoke range of products, solutions and services to fulfil the short, medium and long-term needs of the client. They are now looking for a Product Specialist to join the team in an internal capacity to provide technical support to the field sales team and existing customers.
THE ROLE: Our client is looking for a Product Specialist to work internally, either remotely from home of from their office in Dublin. You will provide technical support and solutions to existing customers, whilst also providing support to the field sales team. Although the company offer a full training plan, as this role is of high importance to the company, they are looking for someone with existing knowledge of the electrical/automation industry. You will focus on supporting their Drives & Controls division, liaising with specialist control panel builders. This role is predominantly account management so you must have the ability to nurture long-lasting relationships.
Although this role is an internal position, our client is looking for an individual with an outgoing personality and the technical ability to go out on customer visits with the sales team to offer additional support when needed. This role could progress into a field sales position for the right candidate.
FOR THIS PRODUCT SPECIALIST ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
* Experience in the automation/electrical industry is essential
* Electric or Mechanical degree is desirable but not a prerequisite
* Qualified electricians with technical sales experience would also be applicable
* Experience with Drives & Controls is desirable
* Qualified engineers looking to break into sales will also be of great interest
BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT SPECIALIST ROLE ROLE:
* Basic salary €45,000 - €60,000
