As Sales Executive, you will join an established sales team supporting the O'Callaghan Collection Dublin Hotels - the Davenport, the Alex, the Green and the soon to re-open Mont.
This is a client facing proactive sales position and you will need to have drive, passion, energy and influencing skills to target new business as well as maintaining relationships with some existing accounts & developing the business in the local market.
- You will need to have great communication skills - you will be meeting clients and potential clients face to face as well as managing calls and email enquiries.
- You will have strong customer skills - you will care about what they want and want to deliver and even exceed their expectations.
- You need to be able to manage internal customers as well - the Hotel operations teams as well as other departments.
- You will be a confident presenter and have the ability to negotiate - always getting the best deal for the business of course!
Previous experience of working in hotels in any capacity would be a distinct advantage but if you have the sales expertise, we can soon teach you about hotels!
This is a target driven role so you need to have lots of resilience - not every sale will convert so having the ability to get over it quickly and move on is essential. You should also be very determined - know what you want and be working towards it - being adaptable as you need to change to make things happen.
The role is based at Hospitality House, near Merrion Square where we have the Support office team which includes Finance, Sales, Marketing, Revenue, HR, etc. We provide you with a free lunch every day, have a decent coffee machine and like to have regular donut, pizza or chocolate supplies delivered! It's a great environment and we like to have some fun - we work hard but we play hard too!
