BIC Ireland Ltd – Business Development Manager – Job Description
To manage and develop 40 Wholesale/Direct customer accounts (50%) & 200+ retail calls across Stationers, High street, and the Grocery channel (50%)
• Deliver sales growth of 6%+ YOY.
• Increase BIC range and key SKU distribution in direct / indirect customer base across Lighter, Shaver & Stationery categories.
• Create, maintain & develop Partner relationships with Key Wholesale customers and to develop a BIC focus within their business and sales teams.
Contribute to achieving company value, volume, distribution and market share growth objectives through multiple chain outlets (merchandising, promotion control, price audits) including direct, C&C and wholesale customers.
Ensure Company business plans are implemented across the defined customer account base, encompassing range, distribution, availability, pricing and promotions.
Merchandise key retail accounts within a defined territory, to maximise Bic's presence in store (and ensure compliance against H/O agreed plans) covering range, distribution, availability, pricing, promotions and displays.
Build effective working/trading relationships internally & externally, (with all key personnel) within portfolio of regionally based accounts.
To provide feedback to FSM / KAM’s & Marketing team on performance and opportunities within their account base and with the production of reports, as and when required by the business.
To identify and exploit all opportunities for growth.
