Our successful client based in Limerick City are looking to recruit a Store Manager for a permanent, full-time role. This is a fast-paced role in a busy store ideally suited to an individual with previous retail and management experience.
Duties:
* Ensuring standards of exceptional Customer Service are consistently met by the team
* Managing and motivating the team
* Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
* Analysing sales figures and reporting to head office and senior management
* Dealing with various staffing issues including performance reviews and feedback sessions, as well as training and development
* Promoting the organisation locally
* Organising and managing in-store promotions and events
* Communicating with the team and your colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
* Strong presence on the sales floor, displaying exemplary standards of performance, participating in teamwork and communicating with customers, and
* identifying or resolving urgent issues as they arise
Experience:
* Previous management experience or team leading essential
* Previous retail experience desirable
* Excellent communication and people skills
* A strong commitment to customer service
* The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast paced environment
* Confidence, drive and enthusiasm
