An opportunity has arisen for the position of Business Development Executive within a busy Sales Distribution Company. This is an entry level sales position where the successful candidate will be selling and merchandising stores to gain experience and floor space for our consumer product brands. 

The product portfolio is varied with high quality brands such as Babyliss, Homedics, Breville, Crockpot to name but a few. The role requires a dynamic, resilient and flexible individual who possess the motivation to achieve our business results. 

Reporting Manager: Sales Manager 

Responsibilities: 

Identify and manage customer requirements and opportunities to maximise sales/market share
Achieve and exceed sales targets and margins as per the company business plan
Promote product and brand awareness to ensure the brands are achieving maximum potential
Merchandising – ensure our products are displayed correctly to maximise sales out
Build and maintain relationships with existing dealers and promote Origo as a preferred supplier
Support the Sales team where necessary in all aspects of sales execution
Attendance at trade shows, customer open days, customer training, etc.
Provide in store training on key products and promotions
Liaise and manage stock returns in store in line with our current policies and procedures
Report on competitor activity and market intelligence
Manage and clear supports calls within the agreed time scale
Report on monthly activities and expenses 

Key Attributes & Skills Required:

Full clean drivers licence essential
Proven negotiation and selling skills
Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent communications skills – numeric, oral and written
Proven attention to detail and results orientated
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong business and commercial acumen
Capability to work on own initiative
