I am looking for an experienced Sales Manager for an excellent company in Shannon. The successful candidate will be responsibility for leading and managing a team of Technical Sales Engineers in customized automation projects. This person will lead the sales capability for the business and ensure that the team meet both department goals and wider business goals and objectives.

Role includes:

* People management of the Technical Sales department
* Align goals and objectives for the team - ensuring sales team meet KPI targets
* Reports generation for Senior Management Team
* Drive new business and proposal activity
* Review all proposals and costing
* Manage the handover process
* Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop and performance manage staff to ensure staff are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company’s needs
* Recruitment and selection
* Coordinate training and development of team
* Continuous Improvement and Innovation
* Identify areas of improvement in the process and execute
* Grow Profile and Commercial outline of the department
* Maintain & Develop lasting partnerships with customers
* Operations tasks and other KPI’s
