As the company continues to grow a vacancy has become available for a Team Leader to support our experienced team in Dublin. The successful candidate will have a versatile role being responsible for the day to day running of the Paving Centre. Your role will be an exciting opportunity to join an award winning and progressive company who is in a period of growth. The successful candidate will be hands on and capable individual self-motivated and should possess strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills. They will be a strong leader and possess Leadership skills to ensure the smooth running of the paving centre.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Achievement of sales targets and customer service levels as set by head office.
• Maximise sales of paving products to all customer types whilst maintaining the best possible price.
• Implement and follow all Company procedures including order entry, design, credit control, returns, complaints, banking, holiday and health and safety procedures.
• Implement and follow all Company rules as per Company handbook.
• Handle telephone sales enquiries from all customer groups in Ireland.
• Calculate and determine customer requirements from landscape plans.
• Enter orders and customer quotations accurately and efficiently on to our order entry and quotation system.
• Respond to emails and general queries from external sales executives and internal departments.
• Prepare staff rotas and ensure the centre is adequately staffed at all times including Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
• Prepare regular reports for management including weekly reports, activity levels and time sheets.
• Travel to head office and Cork paving centre when required to take part in continuous improvement meetings and implement agreed actions.
• Ensure the display/Sample area is kept clean and tidy and the stock yard is well stocked with bestselling products.
• Load customers who call at the centre to collect product when required.
• Any other duties as required within a busy office environment.
Requirements:
Essential Leaving Certificate, Higher level to be greater than H4. Top 6 subjects to include Maths & English.
6+months of customer service experience 3 years leadership experience in a busy office/retail environment
3+ years of customer service experience
3+ years of successful sales experience
Desirable Third Level Qualification Knowledge of the construction industry
Proven track record in sales Experience with Microsoft Office
Driving Licence
