As the Plumbing & Heating Department Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Plumbing & Heating Department within your branch.
In this varied role, you’ll identify sales opportunities, increase revenue and ensure that a first-class service is delivered to customers.
Specifically, you will:
- Assist customers with any queries
- Ensure that employees have the training they need to provide a high quality service
- Make sure that work areas are well-presented
- Monitor stock levels and place orders when required
- Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
- At least two years’ experience at management level
- Substantial experience in the plumbing and heating industry
- The ability to reach and exceed sales targets
- Health and Safety compliance experience
Commercially-astute and strategically-minded, as the Plumbing & Heating Department Manager, you’ll have great planning and prioritisation abilities. You’ll also have great communication skills, a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.
Ideally, you’ll have people management experience, but this is not essential. Experience in plumbing and heating retail would also be beneficial.
