Development and implementation of sales initiatives for Subscriptions/Memberships
Senior Business Development Executive
* Manage the lead generation process with responsibility for opportunity identification, qualification and close
* Research opportunities and initiate targeted sales campaigns by industry segment
* Develop unique selling arguments for the Subscriptions/Memberships
* Develop and maintain a suite of sales tools (e.g. presentation, proposal document, cost-benefit arguments)
* Undertake visits to introduce Subscriptions to potential clients and explain service offering
* Identify opportunities within the membership base to promote products to existing member companies
* Work cross functionally to identify and convert key opportunities for new business
* Work as part of a team to ensure that all sales related materials are developed, written and communicated in a timely and professional manner
* Produce comprehensive weekly and monthly management reports on new membership
Requirements for Senior Business Development Executive
* Primary degree in a business-related discipline : Sales/Marketing qualification an advantage
* Strong sales track record with tangible results ideally within a membership/subscriptions environment
* Sales experience in a professional services and/or membership environment an advantage
* Experienced and creative business development professional;
* Proven track record of project management from implementation through to completion in a complex, multifaceted, solution selling environment;
* A target driven self-starter with proven innovation and creativity skills;
* Strong B2B sales experience and negotiating skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent presentation and report writing skills
