THE COMPANY: Our client, established over 30 years ago, is one of Ireland’s leading medical suppliers of laboratory equipment. They cater to a wide variety of customers across Ireland and the UK, including the medical and pharmaceutical industries. A well-established and esteemed brand, they are now looking for a Territory Manager/Team Leader with a passion for the industry to join their team here in Ireland.
THE ROLE: You will be joining the Life Science division for this company selling their full range of laboratory capital equipment and consumables into Microbiology labs, Biochemistry labs, Quality Control labs, Pharmaceutical companies, Medical companies and Academia. You will interact with a variety of decision makers including Lab managers, Lab Technicians, Quality managers, Professors etc. This role will be covering North Leinster, Connacht and parts of Ulster. You will also inherit a portfolio of medical accounts to manage but will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities. As part of the role, you will also be a Team leader, responsible for the mentoring of 2 junior sales representatives. Full training will be provided to the successful Territory Manager.
THE PERSON: Preferably you will be qualified to degree level, ideally specialising in Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar. Although not essential, experience selling analytical equipment or consumables would be a distinct advantage. You will be a polished and well-presented individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead a team.
THE PACKAGE:
* €40,000 - €55,000 Base Salary
* €10,000 + OTE
* Fully expensed company car
* Laptop, Mobile, Tablet, 20 Days Holidays, Pension, Lunch Allowance
