Sales Support Executive

TCB Group is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Support Executive to join our team, based in Belfast.

With branch offices in Belfast, Liverpool, Singapore and Indianapolis, TCB Group is a specialist provider of multi-modal transportation services, warehousing and supply chain service.

Through our highly skilled and experienced team, we collaborate to problem-solve, manage and deliver positive outcomes for businesses and organisations throughout the world.

Our core business services are freight, warehousing, the transportation of dangerous goods and the repatriation of human remains.

Working closely with the operations and business development teams your key responsibilities will include:

- Creating proposals for existing clients

- Follow up quotations with clients

- Co-ordinate targeted client campaigns

- Prepare reports of information collected from:

a. Quotation follow up

b. Targeted campaign follow up

- Work with business development team to organise and execute business development campaigns

- Generate sales appointments for field sales

- Cold calling potential clients as part of a targeted client campaign

- Managing and reporting all information generated

Qualifications & Characteristics

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and will fit into a dynamic, friendly and professional team within the Belfast office

To be considered as a Sales Support Executive, you will need:

- Experience in a sales support role, working closely with operations and business development teams

- At a minimum, five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths and English

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail

- Excellent telephone manner

- Ability to work on own and as part of a wider team

Freight forwarding experience would be beneficial, but this isn’t essential.
