THE ROLE: The successful Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling an impressive range of laboratory services into the food and beverage manufacturing sector throughout the country. You will have 2 sales executives reporting directly into you, so you will manage both yours and their sales performance. You will be selling to a range of decision-makers, including laboratory managers, QC and NPD. You will also get involved in contract negotiations at board level. This role will be new business focused, however, you will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing business.
Territory = Ireland (32 counties)
THE PERSON: For this role, our client is eager to meet with candidates that arrive with a strong track record of selling into the food and beverage manufacturing sector with management experience. Ideally, you will have experience dealing with laboratory departments and you will be capable of securing large contracts, negotiated at board level. Our client will favour candidates that arrive with a scientific background and / or have worked in a laboratory in the past.

THE PACKAGE FOR ACCOUNT MANAGER:
* Salary: €50-65K
* Bonus: ~€15K
