MSS in partnership with our client, MD Burns & Co Ltd is currently recruiting a field sales Business Development Executive to develop and manage the North East / Ulster territory.
Location : Louth , Monaghan, Fermanagh. Donegal
The Role:
Service existing customers by providing an excellent level of customer service while developing a thorough understanding of retailers’ requirements.
Identify the most effective call pattern for each customer and ensure the correct product mix in each account thus ensuring maximum profitability.
Prospect the area and secure new accounts.
Expand the range that is currently being supplied to existing customers.
Ensure provision of an exceptionally high level of customer satisfaction through friendly, professional and accurate field communication and excellent administration practices.
Maintain all accounts within the company agreed credit terms.
Key skills:
The ability to plan and prioritise a large territory to arrange meetings with a wide range of customers, utilising overnight stays where necessary
Confident and engaging presentation skills and an excellent level of listening skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to plan and manage own time, taking into account priorities and deadlines
Excellent customer service skills
A high level of self-motivation with a genuine desire to meet and surpass targets
Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
Role requirements:
Full clean driving licence
3- 8 years field sales experience
Proven track record in proactive field sales and achieved targets
Proven ability to manage a customer base and develop new business
Proven track record in selling large product range
Ability to manage customer profitability (price/margin)
