Assistant Manager – Retail Furniture - Limerick- €50k OTE
Overview:
Our client is a leader in the furniture retail market. Continued growth means a requirement for an Assistant Store Manager to join their flagship store in Limerick.
The Assistant Store Manager will manage the sales team to obtain maximum store growth. They will focus on creating a great customer experience and maintaining high staff morale.
Responsibilities:
Create an engaging, positive working environment and strong selling culture.
Building and maintaining a high-performing sales team.
Acting as a coach and mentor for the stores' sales team.
Maintaining a store that supports an excellent customer shopping experience.
Updating Sales Advisors on all products & store policies to ensure efficient operations
Manage staff rostering to match staffing level requirements
Responds in a professional and courteous manner to escalated customer service inquiries, requests or complaints to reach an effective resolution.
Create and maintain the visual presentation of the store.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in retail management
2 years’ prior experience managing a professional sales team in a retail environment
Visual Merchandising experience
A competitive spirit and drive to succeed
The ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Strong internet/PC skills
