THE ROLE: Ideal for a candidate looking to get a break into the medical sales market, as part of a succession plan, you will work closely with the existing sales person in this area, an individual that has been an expert in this field for decades. For the first 12 months, you will shadow this individual on sales calls, learning how to sell ophthalmology equipment and consumables into ophthalmology departments within hospitals through the country, dealing with consultants, surgeons and nurses. The level of responsibility you will have will increase throughout the initial 12 months, with a view to being proficient at selling in this area at the end of the 12 months period and with a longer term view taking over fully from the current sales person.

THE PERSON: We are looking to speak with candidate that will be educated to degree level, have a hunger to work in the medical sales arena and the ambition to prove themselves in sales.
* Degree qualified – science is preferable, but business will also be considered
* Any commercial sales experience will be a distinct advantage
* You must be polished and presentable
* You must be a strong communicator and have excellent attention to detail
* You must be coachable and eager to learn
* You must have a strong work ethic
