THE COMPANY: This heritage brand name has been manufacturing and exporting high quality pet food across the world for over 100 years. Our clients products have an excellent reputation for quality and are sought after by key opinion leaders in the sector, including veterinarians, pharmacy and co-op owners and pet store owners.
THE ROLE: The new Sales Manager will be responsible for all commercial activity within our clients equine division in Ireland. You will be responsible for selling a cutting edge equine nutraceuticals into Veterinary practices, Pet stores and pharmacies throughout the country and the successful applicant will manage a team of 4 field sales staff and ensure targets and KPIs are hit and exceeded, as well as individually looking after profit generation with some of the companies larger existing accounts. Responsible for promotional activity, tactical marketing, brand positioning, stock control and relationship management, you will be given total autonomy to develop relationships across the board.
THE PERSON: For this role, our client is looking for an experienced sales manager with experience in the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical sector. Ideally, you will have some link to animal health sector. You must be capable of managing both an individual and team sales target and must have a successful track record.
* Basic Salary: €65,000 - €75,000
* +10% Bonus
