We are currently recruiting for an experienced Conference and Banqueting Manager to join our team in Dublin 8. An excellent opportunity has arisen in this high profile site for an experienced manager with a proven track record of achieving success in previous roles.

Our client has a variety of unique event spaces and the capacity to hold events for up to 2000 people. Reporting directly to the Events Operations Manager and working actively with the senior management team, this position will have responsibility for leading a large team in the delivery of unique world class events and banqueting experiences, while also supporting the Visitor Catering Business.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
•Leading, motivating and training/developing a team to consistently develop and improve while also bringing new ideas to the business and achieving tangible cost effective results.
•Building and maintaining excellent client relationships, by understanding their changing requirements and responding proactively to meet client’s needs.
•Active and engaged management of operational performance of the team to deliver the highest standards of customer service to our clients.
•Ensuring the highest standards in health and safety, food safety and hygiene are adhered to at all times.
Maintaining and developing excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders in Seasons business.

Candidates must possess:
•An approved catering qualification at diploma/degree level and /or 5 years industry experience, 2 of which were at management or department head level with a strong background in a high volume hospitality, conference and banqueting operation.
•Demonstrates excellent people management skills with experience of managing large teams of staff.
•A passion for food and service and the ability to innovate in this area.
•A high degree of knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
•The ability to manage in a diverse and pressurised environment with a focus on client and customer services.
•Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
•Commercially focused, experience with budgets and a proven ability to achieve stretching commercial targets.
•Actively seeks change, a self-motivator and is ready to challenge in the interest of continuous improvement.
•A passionate supporter and representative of the Aramark and client brands.
