Payroll Specialist - Part-Time & Off-Site
Our client has a requirement for an experienced Payroll Specialist / Administrator. It is envisaged that the applicant could work 9am-2pm M-F or perhaps Wed - Fri 9am -5pm. The applicant can work remotely but be available for Financial Team meetings on Friday if required.
The client has 200 staff at their offices in Smithfield Dublin. The payroll process is outsourced to payroll service providers depending upon region. For instance Paycheck is used for UK / Ireland operations.
Ensuring the accurate and timely end to end processing of monthly payroll
Register new starters & leavers via Revenue Online System (ROS)
Application of tax/PRSI details and ensuring data is accurate and up to date
Preparation and filing of Monthly P30's and P45's on ROS
Preparation and filing of Annual P35's and employees P60's
Deal with all payroll related queries from staff
Issue P45s and P60 documents
Prepare and submit payroll reports to Finance Department for monthly payment
Responding to all payroll queries for employees
Maintaining the payroll systems
At least 2 years payroll experience in managing a large payroll
Strong communication skills; face to face, on the phone, written and email
Ability to deal with and prioritise multiple tasks
Ability to work as an effective team member with good collaboration skills
Prompt, professional & discrete when responding to internal customers
IPASS qualified an advantage (or currently studying an IPASS qualification).
Excellent PC Skills - Excel, Word and Outlook
Good planning & time management skills
The salary is negotiable and competitive. It is entirely dependent upon experience levels and working hours agreed. This is a permanent position.
