As a Business Development Executive, you will be tasked with generating sales opportunities of our client’s exciting software to a global customer base.
Specifically, you will engage with customers who have expressed an interest in order to to generate new sales opportunities, support customer engagement plans and develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
You’ll be working hand-in-hand with both the Sales Team and the Marketing Team regarding sales opportunities and interested customers and undertaking calls with clients to assess their needs and create sales.
Additionally, you will work towards monthly pipeline goals, manage your own daily activities and customer information and report on activity in our client’s CRM system.
To be considered, you will need:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business-related discipline OR at least one year’s business development experience
- Strong telephone and email communication skills
- The desire to start a career in software sales
Engaged and curious, as a Business Development Executive, you will need to be an empathetic listener with the ability to understand a problem and communicate how it can be resolved by our client’s software. An organised and independent approach with be vital, as will superb relationship-building skills.
