Reporting to: Technical Services Manager
Overview
Reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager the Technical Support Agent will be responsible for the selling of both hardware and software products while combining technical advice with a more general sales role.

Main responsibilities
Constantly seek new opportunities to expand the portfolio and increase margin through:
- Prospecting new customers and regaining lost business
- Monitoring sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly reports detailing key result areas.
- Determining a client's business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable
- Calling on existing customers on a regular basis, providing quotes for upgrades and ensuring that enquiries and issues are followed up in a timely manner.
- Maintain price files and advising customers of increases, managing expectations to ensure business is retained
- Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary
Skills Required:
· Having strong communication skills, both written and verbal with a strong ability to build good working relationships
· Previous experience of growing and developing Sales within the IT Industry
· Being self-motivated and persistent with the drive to succeed
· Experience with Azure and VMware Cloud environments and strong knowledge of MS Operating systems
· Interpersonal skills as you will be in constant contact with customers and colleagues
· The ability to prioritize your workload
· Excellent Listening and Timekeeping skills
