Boulder Formats is a nationwide wholesale distributor of toys, garden products, books, home entertainment, homewares, games, stationery, luggage, and apparel.

The brands the company represent in Ireland include Tractor Ted, Milly & Flynn, Oops, Buki, Hometown World, Santoro, Scor-Mor, GAA, and Primus. An opening has become available to fill the position of Business Development Manager to optimize the sales of these brands and product lines.

 

Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager is responsible for growing and developing Boulder Formats business in Ireland with Department Stores, Gift Shops, Garden Centre’s, Book Shops, Pharmacies, Toy Shops, Farm Shops, Grotto Destinations, and E-tailers. Preparing and presenting existing and new product lines to these retailers daily is the main function of the job with the objective to open as many new accounts as is required to reach the targets set by the company. The position will involve some Account Management, but this is primarily a New Business Development role.

 

 

Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be required to supply daily sales reports and complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner and keep excellent records on the companies CRM system. The position requires three or four days per week in the field with one night per week overnighting attending pre-scheduled meetings as well as cold calling. The remainder of the week is office based which will involve appointment setting and following up with proposals etc. with existing or new clients. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for managing Irish tradeshows the company exhibits at. 

 

You

You are flexible, energetic, personable, commercially astute, numerate, computer literate, detail oriented, confident, and ambitious. You have several years of successful sales experience and strong relationships in the retail sector. You are an excellent route planner and time manager.

 

Remuneration:

 

OTE €50K+ (Includes Base Salary neg based on experience and annual results-based bonus programme)
