Finning is one of the world’s largest Caterpillar suppliers of construction, earth moving and power systems equipment. They are now seeking a Parts Direct Sales Co-ordinator to join their team in Rathcoole.
 
This is an incredible opportunity for a technically minded individual from a sales background to take the next exciting step in their career with an internationally recognised Caterpillar dealer.
 
As a Parts Direct Sales Co-ordinator, you will be tasked with providing a consistent and outstanding level of service to Parts Direct customers seeking Caterpillar parts.
 
Liaising with customers via email and telephone, you will provide technical expertise to resolve customer queries, handle all calls in a professional manner and ensure speedy despatch and on-time delivery.
 
Your role will include:
 
- Enhancing online sales and uptake of e-business
- Promoting the Parts Direct service and increasing customer loyalty
- Processing online and telephone orders
- Resolving customer disputes
- Interpreting customer needs and preparing quotes
- Converting quotes to order through follow-up
- Raising orders and organising delivery options
 
So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need:
 
- Experience of working in a branch or call centre sales role with the ability to demonstrate competency in call handling, sales and order closing, adapting within a dynamic environment
- A strong customer focus and customer care skills
- Product and technical knowledge, particularly with Caterpillar machinery and engines
- An understanding of the parts supply chain process
 
Influential and communicative, as a Part Direct Sales Co-ordinator, you will also need to be adept at negotiating, questioning, listening and selling. A results-driven approach will be key, as will a focus on delivering on commitments.
 
A business qualification would be beneficial to your application. A good level of IT literacy would also be an advantage, preferably with Microsoft packages.
