Pharmacy Retail Supervisor - Cork City

As Pharmacy Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for the running of the front of shop in the Pharmacy including, all premium skincare accounts, front of shop departments and OTC.

The duties and responsibilities include:

* Effective management of all premium skincare, fragrance agencies, front of shop and OTC
* Oversee all aspects of the day to day running of the store
* Effective management and responsibility for front of store turnover, stock management and profitability in line with the company targets
* Effective management of all pharmacy employees including rotas, staff appraisals and effective communication through regular staff meetings
* Supervise the functioning of the staff
* Responding to customer queries and helping them with purchase
* Training new staff and managing the work schedules of the staff
* Being aware of daily sales targets and ensuring that targets are met
* Ensuring that the merchandise is replenished regularly and the store is never out of stock
* Checking the financial transactions of the store
* Ensuring that the store policies are upheld

Retail supervisor skills and specifications

The skills and specifications of a retail supervisor are:

* Excellent communication, motivation and leadership skills
* Extensive knowledge of the main front of shop departments
* Previous Pharmacy Management experience would be an advantage
* Employee management, rosters, staff appraisals, staff meetings and identifying development needs
* Previous experience in People Management - dealing with HR, reviews and rota planning
* Excellent observation and analytical abilities
* Ability to make the staff work as a team by portraying good leadership qualities
* Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
