Sales Support Assistant – Fashion Industry

Established for over 90 years, our client is a reputable fashion house of mainly menswear brands, designed in-house and manufactured offshore, with links to retailers in the UK, ROI and Europe. The company has a strong brand portfolio and is recognised for its outstanding customer service and high levels of quality. They’re now looking for a Sales Support Assistant to join their friendly team.
As a Sales Support Assistant, you will provide a high-quality service to customers and pick their orders in a timely manner.
In this varied role, you’ll support the smooth running of your department, including assisting with new ranges, seasonal sales, school wear sales and stocktaking processes.
Specifically, you will:
- Respond to customers’ queries, both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Ensure that all orders are accurately picked, processed and dispatched
- Control stock movements and implement stock take procedures
- Maintain accurate computer and paper records
- Monitor and pass on customer feedback
To be considered, you will need:
- Experience in a sales support role
- A good level of IT literacy
- A full, valid driving licence
Flexible and proactive, as a Sales Support Assistant, you’ll have strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. A positive, ‘can do’ attitude and great team-working skills are also key.
