Our client is a leading Irish software company that designs and caters for a specific niche worldwide. This company is very ambitious and seeking an equally ambitious Inside Sales person with a difference. This is a company with aims to be a €1b company in the next few years. 

To achieve that aim they do things differently. Candidates in inside sales roles with US software companies will be interested in this position. The first big cultural difference is this is not a ‘hard sell’ environment. Instead my client wants this candidate to showcase aspects of their software suite to clients and assist them with making their own business more profitable. 

Pushy sales people need not apply. 

Interaction with client base is by phone, email & social media. 

The second big difference is the role encompasses a high degree of social media engagement with your client base through blogging, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. You really must be a big fan of what is called nowadays ‘social selling’.  

Thirdly, this is a trendy workplace environment where everyone supports each other. You must ‘fit in’ and feel comfortable with equally ambitious people who want to excel in respective roles. 

• Third level education, preferably to degree level. 

• Strong interest in all aspects of utilising social media to generate business opportunities. 

• Background in B2B outbound telephone sales environment. 

• Naturally helpful, courteous and inquisitive when working with people.  

• Familiar with photoshop. 

It is expected that the base salary will be circa €35k with opportunities to exceed €70k in year one.
