Category Manager FMCG

Crossell Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading brand for an experienced Category Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experience Category Manager to further their career.

Duties:

• Build external customer relationships to drive business.
• Develop planning and strategy
• Execute Point of Purchase strategy across customers.
• Lead, manage and evaluate customer range reviews.
• Provide analysis for commercial planning and market strategy.
• Deliver internal KPIs on distribution and share of space to feed into the monthly business process.
• Lead the customer category input into the commercial planning process.
• Provide insight for our field teams to support in store execution strategies and targets being achieved.
• Support the sales team with key customer insight to help influence externally.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• A third level qualification in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in Category Management/Shopper/Marketing
• Previous category management experience
• Significant previous sales experience in an FMCG environment
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
