DEM Machines is looking for an International Markets Research Officer to join our team. This is a highly focused role, being responsible for creating and disseminating information on international business trends. The ideal candidate will have some experience of business research techniques, data analytics and they will have the ability to communicate this information to colleagues in the business. The ideal candidate should have a third level qualification. DEM Machines offers SAP Business One based solutions to the food, beverage, meat, chemical and pharma sectors. DEM also provide a range of equipment to processing companies such as weighing, scanning, printing and production equipment.

Main responsibilities

Actively research potential opportunities for DEM products and services in new international markets.

Dealing with incoming requests for information from new international markets.

Create and distribute an analysis of international market opportunities across the chosen territories

Provide colleagues with an analysis of new international market opportunities on a regular and timely basis

Managing data relating to international opportunities, and building professional working relationships in new markets with various agencies and organisations

Maintain the required volume of research activity

Contribute towards achievement of DEM targets, by way of meeting or exceeding expectations in terms of providing information on new international markets

Job experience & skills requirements

 Must be methodical and organized, and work to high quality standards both as part of a team, and when working individually·  

Previous experience in a research role within a  new business oriented environment.

 Used to working in a busy environment and operating as a team member and using own initiative to solve problems.·  

 Knowledge of  IT and software solutions
