New Business Development Manager (Contract)

Born from humble beginnings in a butcher’s shop, Clonakilty Food Company has grown into an award-winning food manufacturer. With strong roots in Ireland, their high-quality products are now enjoyed by food lovers across the globe.
They are currently looking for a New Business Development Executive to join them on a 12-month contract, that may have potential to become a permanent position.
As the New Business Development Manager, you will maximise sales of Clonakilty Food Company products throughout Europe and the Middle East.
In this key role, you will:
- Optimise sales with the existing customer base and identify new markets
- Proactively follow up on sales leads
- Identify new product development opportunities based on market analysis
- Attend and participate in International Trade Shows
This role will require significant travel on an ongoing basis.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- A minimum of three years’ food sales experience or similar
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- A degree level qualification
- A full clean driving licence
Personable and ambitious, as the New Business Development Manager, you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships. Great time-management and planning abilities are also key.
Fluency in French, German or Spanish, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application.
