The Opportunity

WinAbu Consulting, on behalf of its client, is seeking to identify and appoint an experienced Business Development Executive, for an immediate start. Our client is almost 30 years in operation as one of Ireland’s leading print companies, with a strong reputation for delivery and quality. 

As the business grows strongly, it has identified further significant opportunities to win business, particularly in its new packaging print segment. To take full advantage of this opportunity, it proposes to create a new position of Business Development Executive specifically for Packaging Print. This position will report into the Managing Director, who leads the company’s overall sales efforts. The new executive will mostly focus on the packaging print offering and will be targeted in terms of winning new packaging print business clients for the company and developing and building the account wins over time.

The Candidate

The right candidate will be a proven successful sales and business development professional. He/she will have well-developed personal organisational skills, including an ability to “run yourself”. 

Direct experience of the packaging printing industry is a strict requirement. 

The candidate must have a capability to operate at a senior business development level in a multi-faceted and dynamic business environment, with changing priorities and schedules. He/she should demonstrate experience, and success, in securing new business and in building accounts over time. The candidate should be able to show long-term successful experience with similar objectives and targets, in lieu of or in addition to 3rd level qualifications.

The Reward

This is an important appointment for the company with a need for early success. The package on offer reflects this, with targeted OTE of €100k, and a basic salary of €60k.
