Within Ireland, they also operate a strong DIY retailing organisation with stores nationwide and a kitchen business operating under a number of brands. They are now looking for a Plumbing & Heating Sales Representative to join their team.
If you are a sales professional from a builder’s merchant or construction background with outstanding knowledge of heating and plumbing products, this is your chance to shine in a role that is geared toward your specialist area of knowledge.

As a Plumbing and Heating Sales Representative, you will be tasked with generating sales of Grafton’s heating and plumbing products.
Specifically, you’ll develop sales opportunities, forge strong relationships and manage all activity that is related to customer interaction and sales.
You will manage your own geographic area and will undertake travel across that region as required, visiting customers, discussing their needs and responding to queries and problems in a positive manner.
Your other duties will include:
- Preparing account plans to meet sales targets
- Providing quotes for heating and plumbing products
- Offering advice regarding the use of the products
- Ensuring payment terms are adhered to
Interested? If so, you must have:
- Experience as a sales rep
- Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing and/or heating products including the latest advanced in the industry
- Experience of dealing with building contractors and specifiers
This is the ideal role for someone from a builder’s merchants or construction company background where you have sold in a B2B capacity.
A third level qualification in a construction or business-related discipline would be highly beneficial to your application but is not essential.
