Bathroom Showroom Sales Advisor- Cork
Our client is one of Ireland’s fastest growing Bathroom, Tiles and flooring retail businesses. They are looking for someone who thrives in a target driven environment and enjoys the challenge of meeting and exceeding those targets on a Daily, Weekly and Monthly basis. The right person will be well rewarded with a generous basic salary plus uncapped commission on all sales.
Job Summary
To provide a professional, timely and efficient service to all of our customers, ensuring that all business opportunities are maximised, through following up of all potential leads and closing new business.
Main Tasks
- Greeting customers in a friendly and timely manner when they enter the store.
- Assisting customers with their bathroom product queries and offering advice.
- Producing customer proposals.
- Processing orders.
- Keeping sales lead sheet up to date.
- Following up customer leads in a timely manner by phone.
- Processing telephone orders.
- Providing excellent customer service on telephone and in store.
- Following up customers after completion of bathroom installation to ensure they are fully satisfied.
- Developing a good understanding of the company product range and keeping up to date with new products as they come on stream.
Essential Criteria:
- Professional tidy appearance
- Experience in the use of MS office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of and good understanding of sales and the sales cycle
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Accessible to location
- Able to work during late night openings and Saturdays not negotiable
Desirable Criteria:
- IT qualification e.g. ECDL, CLAIT
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role (within the last 4 years)
- Experience of maintaining and developing databases
- Experience in a similar role within a retail environment
- Experience selling bathroom ware.
The package
· Competitive salary (Circa €30k - depends on experience)
· Generous uncapped commission scheme on all sales
Working days/hours
Mon-Frid – 8.45-5.30pm
Saturdays – Mandatory 9.45-4pm
Sundays – 1pm-5pm (Day in lieu for working Sundays every second week)
