Our client is of Ireland’s leading luxury bathroom retail specialists. Their team is expanding and they now have an exciting full-time opportunity to join their team in their luxury showroom in South West Dublin.
Purpose of role: As part of the Bathroom Sales Team working alongside an experienced retail sales team the primary role is to lead and deliver agreed sales targets for the company’s bathroom product range. Maintaining and developing the bathroom retail showroom environment will also be a core function together with the ongoing development of the sales teams through ongoing training and team work.
Experience of delivering superior customer service within the bathroom market is vital along with managing the sales cycle from sales and design to logistics and after sales support.
Main tasks: Ranked by importance
Selling of the complete bathroom package within a retail customer environment and experience in dealing with the design and specification segments of the market along with dealing with the trade and contractors.
Delivery of excellence in customer service through agreed KPI’s and metrics.
Assist in carrying out the company’s policies and procedures in relation to Health, Welfare & Safety, HR, standard operating procedures, stock control, cash control and security.
Reporting to: Showroom Manager and Bathroom Sales Manager
Scope of the role: Achievement of agreed sales targets and customer service delivery targets will be critical to ongoing success. The role will also involve close and regular communication with the showroom team with high levels of self-motivation combined with good team playing characteristics. The showroom environment is constantly adapting to customer and market needs and the need for flexibility will be important.
In line with the retail environment, the company operate a 7 day trading cycle and all members of the team will be required to work through this cycle.
Skills: Good interpersonal skills. Problem solving and resolution skills linked with the ability to handle issues using a balance of initiative and use of systems and showroom management support. Full drivers license. Good literacy and writing skills along with a competent level of IT, knowledge of stock and quotation systems along a working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar packages. Experience of using design packages such as Plan It Fusion.
Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of a professional retail environment with a focus on design is ideal but not mandatory. Professional selling skills are essential.
Experience: A minimum 3 years’ experience within a professional bathroom retail environment with exposure to complex and involved sales processes where significant proactive interaction with customers is required.
Attitudes: Enthusiastic personality with a proactive attitude to customers and customer service. A genuine desire to help support a positive team environment coupled with high levels of self-motivation.
Basic salary up to €45k depending on experience plus a performance based bonus package. References and medical check-up will be required.
