THE COMPANY: This well-established Irish company has grown from strength to strength over the last 50 years. They sell a range of glass and plastic packaging as well as a range of consumables into the food, beverage and pharmaceutical end users. They also sell into hospitals, universities from time to time.
THE ROLE: Covering the Greater Munster area, the new Business Development Manager will be a part of a division that sells a vast range of food, beverage and pharmaceutical packaging and consumables including dispensers, taps, scoops, cables ties and measures. With this role being a mix of account management and new business development, you will be dealing with buyers, general managers and warehouse managers
FOR THIS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER POSITION, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
* The ideal candidate will arrive with a B2B field sales background, and an excellent track record of new business development.
* You will be a high calibre sales professional with a polished demeanour.
* Any experience of packaging sales into the food, beverage, pharma sectors will be a distinct advantage, and exposure to industrial packaging or consumables is useful.
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* You must be driven, ambitious and self-motivated
BENEFITS OF THIS ROLE:
* Basic salary: €35,000 – €45,000
