Veritas – Account Manager (6 month contract)

Veritas is Ireland's leading religious publisher and retailer. The company seek a sales manager to be based in their Head Office at Abbey Street Dublin 1. The 6 month contract role will focus on the successful conversion of sales leads for Credo –Veritas’s secondary school religious education series -which is sold to high schools in the United States.

Account Manager - Benefits

Annual Salary €35k/€40k depending on experience.

Account Manager - Role Responsibilities

On a day to day basis you will follow up queries from High School teachers in the USA.

Devise a lead generation campaign targeting US dioceses.

Technical support for admin setup, teacher login and Credo online resources.

Customer service support for initial editorial questions/concerns.

Customer Service/Help Desk answering customer queries.

Monitor and Service of all website inquiries.

Customer support / fulfilment for all third party book distributors.

E-mail communication for follow up.

Account Manager - Key Requirements

A proven experience in closing sales in the education sector

Proficiency in IT/ Microsoft systems an advantage

Be proactive and capable of taking initiative

Be articulate, self-motivated and able to adapt quickly to new situations

Keen attention to detail

Preferred 5 years sales experience
