GROUP SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
One of our clients has an excellent opportunity to work for a well-recognised Irish owned company who has experience in delivering in all sectors. Your role will be involved with the responsibility of increasing sales and revenue in a select portfolio of Irish companies in that field.
DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
-To provide leadership and guidance to the sales and marketing team across several properties.
-Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
-Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
-To foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution.
-Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the department.
-Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department
-Implementation and training around sales processes within the businesses for all leads and enquiries.
-Management of all proactive marketing activities, including open days, planning corporate events, networking clubs and local marketing sponsorship etc.
-Development of sales and marketing training template for new starters.
-Create sales and marketing development plan for new professionals joining the team.
-Grow revenue across the properties.
-Oversee the creation of targeted sales and promotional campaigns working with the team.
-Carry out regular site visits to field’s places, meeting with the other teams and identifying opportunities to increase revenue across all areas of the business.
-Report results (including business delivered and ROI from campaigns) to the Group General Manager & Stakeholders.
-Ensure a consistent brand message in keeping with the product positioning.
-Ad hoc duties as required from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS:
-5 years + experience in hospitality.
-Previous experience as a Group sales & Marketing Managers in a 4-star hotel.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Full clean driver license + car owner.
-Flexibility and ability to work on your own initiative are required.
