Excellent opportunity for a candidate on the upward curve of their career to join a well established, multinational distributor selling inspection, testing and serialisation equipment into the medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector with a view to progression into more senior roles in this business in the medium to long term.
THE ROLE: Covering 32 counties of Ireland, but Ideally located centrally, the new Technical Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling a range of packaging inspection, testing and serialisation equipment, as well as product handling and assembly solutions, into the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturing sectors. You will mainly be selling to Engineering Directors, Quality Control and procurement. This role will entail a mixture of new business development as well as account management and part of your responsibility will be to manage relationships with this companies well known suppliers. There is an excellent opportunity to progress into a more senior sales or management position within this company in the medium to long term.
THE PERSON:
* You must be a strong relationship builder, capable of multitasking and capable of managing your duties in this role as if it were your own business
* Ideally, you will have sold a technical product in the past. At the very least, you must display a technical aptitude
* Candidates from an engineering background will have a distinct advantage
* A well-rounded sales person is desired. Ability to develop new business as well as further penetrate existing business is essential
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* You must be driven, ambitious and self-motivated

THE PACKAGE FOR TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST:
* Salary: €40,000 - €60,000 DOE
* Bonus: €10,000 - €20,000
