With state of the art manufacturing plants they design innovative packaging solutions to a diverse range of industries. They are renowned for their local technical support and customer service, which is second to none in the industry.

The Candidate:

This is an account management role where you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing a portfolio of existing accounts. Alongside the account base you will inherit, you will spend a small proportion of your time developing new business.

You will be offering corrugated packaging solutions to the process market which will see you call upon food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other aligned industries. You will deal with a variety of personnel from the shop floor to store level to procurement and production. The ability to deal at all levels is will be key to your success.

Candidate profile:

• Excellent relationship building skills

• The desire to generate new business through targeting and identifying specific market areas that complement and are aligned to the business strategy

• The ability to cross sell and provide business solutions to satisfy customer requirements

• Tenacious , positive ‘ can do ‘ attitude

• The ability to ‘close a sale’

• A proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets

• Structured sales approach with the ability to work with a team and autonomously

• Highly motivated with a desire to succeed

• Numerate and commercially astute

• Organised and professional in attitude, conduct and appearance

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• A background in packaging or experience of selling into the FMCG or food and drinks and or Pharma sectors would be useful but not essential

The Role:

The sales area will cover the South Leinster and Greater Dublin area. You will grow and develop existing accounts and identify and secure new business opportunities. Using consultative selling skills, listening to what the customer wants, you will build strong relationships with prospects and customers by understanding their requirements and identifying appropriate packaging solutions.

You will work closely with your internal colleagues in sales, design, planning, production and logistics to ensure maximum operational efficiency and deliver the best possible customer service to meet and exceed your own and companies sales targets.

Ideally you will be based in Dublin or surrounding areas. The ability to demonstrate a solid track record of account management is essential. You will be a strong relationship builder who thrives in providing a high level of customer service. Self-motivated and diligent in your approach will be pivotal in this role.

If you have sold packaging, logistics or any other aligned product or service this will be of interest, however, not essential. We are more interested in speaking with account managers with a proven track record of success, drive and who can build instant rapport with their clients.
