Checkout Ireland is one of Ireland’s leading media companies with a core focus on magazine publishing in the business-to-business sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our Advertising Sales team. This role is perfect for an individual who has excellent sales skills and who now looks to progress to a role working on a market leading product where sales success is truly rewarded. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling advertising solutions to businesses both for our print products and also our related digital titles.
Should you apply for the position and be successful then your average week will consist mainly of making telesales calls mixed in with some face to face meetings. If there are relevant trade shows taking place there will also be a requirement to visit these shows to introduce our product solutions to exhibiting companies.
The role of an advertising Sales Executive is one that can be very rewarding and will allow you to leverage your creative and entrepreneurial zeal. You will be responsible for creating tailored marketing campaigns across all our platforms for some of Ireland’s leading businesses and presenting your campaign solutions directly to their senior management at a CEO, Marketing Director and Brand Manager level.
Along with having exceptional sales and communication skills, you must be highly organised, self-motivated and have excellent written and spoken English. As your KPI’s will include generating significant digital advertising sales you also need to have an interest in and good knowledge of digital media and social selling.
