THE COMPANY: Established nearly 10 years ago and currently employing over 20 staff, our client is a supplier of industrial and commercial oils, lubricants and greases as well as other products. With an Irish sales team of 5, the company has grown from strength to strength in recent years and are now seeking to recruit an area sales representative to manage the 26 counties.
THE ROLE: The successful area sales representative will be expected to develop new industrial and engineering accounts as well as targeting companies within the quarrying, mining, production, fleet, haulage, co-op and engineering sectors. You will be selling to production managers, business owners and purchasing departments.
THE PERSON: Arriving with a strong background in the industrial and engineering sales arena, the successful individual should be able to demonstrate a track record of selling lubricants and oils into a variety of end user accounts. Due to the nature of the industry, it would be helpful if candidates had previous experience of having sold products to maintenance managers and production managers, and any experience of sales into the agricultural sector will be beneficial.
