SALES MANAGER - Logistics
One of our clients who covers almost 40 European countries and who is connected to all the major business centres of the world is looking for a SALES MANAGER.
The Sales Manager’s Role purport to acquire new business, work to budget targets and work as an integral part of the sales team.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES:
-To win new business/ key accounts across various revenue channels and achieve/ exceed budgeted targets.
-To increase market share by sourcing developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new business sales.
-To develop & maintain the company’s services for existing and potential customers in accordance with company & group policies and procedures.
-To provide leadership, guidance and development of the sales team from a tactical & strategic perspective.
-To performance manage the sales team, identifying strengths to capitalise on and weaknesses to improve upon.
-To actively promote & develop the companies’ services.
-To control all sales costs in line with budget and to calculate & submit quotation and tenders efficiently and follow up accordingly.
-To close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations and liaising with other stakeholders.
-To complete various sales, customer, management reports as required.
-To provide market research and analysis (identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, submit reports with feedback of current market trends to the Senior Management Team).
-To provide client support and interdepartmental support.
-To identify and implement relevant service improvement initiatives.
-And to always maintain a high standard of confidentiality & discretion where appropriate.
